About IBAS

 

The Insurance Brokers' Association of Saskatchewan (IBAS) is a voluntary organization of professional Independent Insurance Brokers. It represents 360 insurance brokerage offices and over 2000 individuals located throughout the province. IBAS communicates with government, the insurance industry and the public on behalf of members. It is committed to the promotion and preservation of the Independent Insurance Brokerage system for the betterment of its members, consumers and the insurance industry.

IBAS:

  • ensures members are kept informed on all matters of interest;
  • works to elevate the status of Independent Insurance Brokers through professional development;
  • consults with government and industry stakeholders to promote Independent Insurance Brokers, and
  • ensures consumers enjoy independent advice and freedom of choice.
